★ History

During certain pre-story events, Lucifer ripped off his wings in a fit of rage, and Satan was born from them.
He was born with only a few of Lucifer's memories, including memories of Lilith and Michael, but not of Lucifer himself. As a result his brothers had to teach him basically everything. They also taught him how to feel things other than wrath, as at the time he was very much the embodiment of his element due to the circumstances of his birth.

★ Personality

Despite his role as the Avatar of Wrath, Satan is often the coolest head in the room. He's composed, collected, even formal, and doesn't rise to anger when you'd expect him to.
Once he does, however... watch out. He becomes ruthless, unforgiving and harsh.
It's questionable what will set him off. Many times he simply ignores his brothers at their most annoying or acts as a voice of reason. However, petty things can still set him off.
He has an exceedingly strategic mind, and loves games that require him to use it.
Satan is exceedingly sociable and gets along well with new people, forming bonds closely. However these bonds are generally just acquaintances. It's rare for him to form a true friendship - or better relationship.
His love of knowledge can be dangerous to himself and to others. At times he's even kept working with cursed books after they've proven to be harmful to him. This may stem from his hidden self-esteem issues. He associates knowledge with respect, as the most intelligent and well-informed person is most likely to garner respect from others.
Satan has an inferiority complex towards Lucifer and wishes he didn't have so many similarities to him. He can't let go of the fact that they used to be the same person and does his best to push back against him and show off any accomplishments to try to reinforce himself as being better than him in some way.
He doesn't believe he can be intimidating, and is entirely unaware of how terrifying his anger can be. There have been times when everyone but Lucifer fled from him in his rage and he was confused as to why, as he sees himself as far less capable of being intimidating.
He initially looked down upon manga, but after being tricked into reading one by Levi, decided he may have been too harsh. He prefers literature, but he's decided manga isn't as unworthy as he thought.
He inherited Lucifer's love of Lilith.
His feelings towards Lucifer are rooted in his desire to be his own person and the negative associations he has from his early days. It's become a compulsion to be antagonistic towards him. However, he's developed a respect and liking over time that is hidden behind his fixation on pranking and harassing him. The official relationship chart refers to him as going through a rebellious phase.

★ Lifestyle

Satan is a major bookworm. His book collection is massive.
Like Lucifer, he's a fan of classical music (never compare the two's similarities). His favourites are symphonies. He also likes ska music.
He loves visiting art galleries and art-related events. He's taken the twins to them many times.
He enjoys watching The Mid-Fall Murders (their equivalent of Midsomer Murders)
He enjoys bitter tastes and likes dark chocolate. On a similar note he finds chunky red bean paste more nejoyable than smooth because it has more bite to it.
He adores cats but is banned from keeping any because he tends to hoard cats. Instead, he feeds a lot of strays. He's bad at naming them, however. One of his strays is just named "Sir Cat".
Othello and Chess are among his favourite games.
Satan's dislikes: Having things thrown at his head; baby talk.
